About Me

My love for design dates back to renovating my first home in my 20s. While I have designed more than 70 kitchens, I have also spent countless hours observing, creating and re-creating interior design spaces.

Each kitchen is unique in footprint and style, and each kitchen owner is unique in the way they live, play, and enjoy their kitchen space. The kitchen is the heart and soul of family life – the place you start your day; the place where lifelong friendships are forged. 

Designing a kitchen is like a dance. There are repeated moves to home in on the detail; at other times it is important to pull back and see the bigger picture. Wrestling with design challenges engenders creative thinking. I bring clarity out of chaos; I create harmony from disjointed ideas.

I am a qualified Interior Designer, with advanced studies in Kitchen and Bathroom Design.
I was also nominated for the Design Institute of Australia’s Graduate of the Year Interior Decoration Award.

Whether you need a mind reader to make sense of all your thoughts; a sounding board for your ideas; or a facilitator to co-ordinate your renovation; I can help.

Let me introduce you to patterns, products and combinations you have not considered – a herringbone pattern tile to create a unique finish, for example, or changing to a different style of handle.

Key design issues, such as the depth and length of the island benches, are fundamental, but tiny adjustments can mean the difference between a kitchen that is functional and a kitchen that flows. Simple things such as the positioning of bins and coffee stations.
